What are Shopify Marketing Activities?

Last year, Shopify launched Marketing in Shopify: A new place to help you create, launch, and measure campaigns. They have streamlined the process to make running a successful ad campaign easier than ever. 

Using Shopify Marketing, you can launch campaigns on ad networks such as Facebook, Google Shopping, Snapchat, Microsoft Shopping, and send emails leveraging technology from various Shopify apps. All you have to do is connect the associated account or App. 

How does it work with Shoelace? 

Once you have installed the Shoelace App, head to the Marketing tab inside your Shopify account and select "Create Marketing Activity":  

Select Shoelace Retargeting Campaign:

From here, you'll be prompted to build a campaign. Name your Activity, choose the products you want to advertise, write your ad copy, select a budget, and set the ad duration! This campaign will be targeting everyone that has viewed products (leveraging the ViewContent event on your pixel) on your website in the past 90 days.

When your done building your campaign, publish the activity here:

When you publish the activity, a retargeting expert at Shoelace will be notified and they will set your campaign live on Facebook. This review process can take up to 48hrs:

When your campaign is Active, you can also preview it in your connected Facebook Ad Account:

That's all! Seamlessly retarget your website visitors leveraging Shoelace's custom audience through Shopify Marketing 🚀. Please note, you will have to be on the Basic Shopify plan or higher to create marketing campaigns.
